It's all in how you look at it.

Do you need a coach, consultant, or a book or do you need to attend another seminar? No one person or organization has cornered the market on coaching. No matter where you provide leadership, the need to be a better leader is the same. Why? Better leaders always provide better leadership.
Uncoached leaders never reach their maximum potential no matter how gifted, talented or experienced they are. Not even how much they have accomplished determines their full potential. Many times success can be a hindrance not an asset. With a qualified and seasoned coach, you will always be better and accomplish more.
Every great athlete I know has a coach. Not because they are not good at what they do, but because they have a burning desire to be the best they can be. They know without a coach, that will never happen.
Coaches are not consultants and seminar presenters. Consultants investigate, assess and leave behind a list of suggestions that might work. Seminar presenters tend to overload you with a lot of good information but you still have to face your present reality and know what to do next.
After the consultants have left and the seminar presenters have packed up and moved on, you still have to face your leadership challenges alone. Coaches are with you for the long haul. They come along side you and your team. They don’t come with all the answers, but with a passion to help you and your leaders on a guided discovery in finding your own answers.
